Pastor Dustin Atkinson was recently installed as the new pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church and School.

Atkinson and his family came to Pagosa Springs from Kenai, Alaska. He attended college at Concordia University in Seward, Neb., and seminary at Concordia St. Louis, Mo. He was ordained into the ministry in 2017. His family includes his wife, Ashley, and their children, Louis, Josephine, and Frances.

In addition to Sunday services at 9 a.m. and a Bible class at 10:30 a.m., Atkinson will be leading Bible studies on Friday mornings at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. He will also lead daily chapel services for the school children at 8 a.m. and will be teaching Christian studies and Latin in grades six through eight.

Our Savior Lutheran Church is committed to everything the Bible teaches. It is a congregation uniquely devoted to liturgical worship, to Christian education, and to the centrality of the Holy Communion and other sacraments in the life of the Christian.

Our Savior Lutheran Pre-School and School offers a Christ-centered curriculum for preschool-age children and elementary, kindergarten through eighth grade.

Our Savior Lutheran Church invites you to attend any of the services, including daily chapel, Bible classes and to meet with Atkinson.
