From the June 12, 1980, Pagosa SUN — WIDENING — An acceleration-deceleration lane is being added to the highway at Pagosa. This stretch is in front of the Pagosa Lodge. The work is being done by contract from Eaton International and the engineering is being done by the State Highway Department, who will also resurface the highway for a seven mile stretch, including the new project.
