Ah, those lazy days of summer are here. You’ll want to curl up in the shade with a good book. The Friends of the Library can help you restock your personal library with its upcoming book sale.

Unlike the brief sale in February, this is the big one with books on all topics and tons of fiction, both hardback and soft cover, at great prices.

The sale will be downtown in the Community United Methodist Church at 434 Lewis St. Come shop from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 21 or 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 22.

Friends of the Library members have special access each day, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Not a Friends member or late renewing your membership? Stop in at the library to pay. The individual membership fee is $15, family membership is $25 and a lifetime membership is $100 per person.
