This year’s Bulls ‘n’ Broncs Rodeo took on a pink hue, with the event also being Tough Enough to Wear Pink night. Intermixed with the class rodeo events were events to bring attention to cancer and raise funds for Pagosa Springs Medical Center’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Tough Enough to Wear Pink events included recognizing survivors, a kids’ pink stick horse race and the Bald for the Brave event, where community leaders and others shaved their heads or cut their hair to donate in honor of those fighting cancer.
