The Archuleta County Fair Board will host a fundraising event, May the 4th Get You BootScootin’, on May 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds.
Country musician and local favorite Tyler Brandon will headline the event.
Entry fees from the Bootscootin’ will benefit the 73rd Annual Archuleta County Fair.
Tickets are $15 on the day of the event and are available at the door; 17 and under are free. Food trucks will be on-site, along with a cash bar sponsored by Rugby’s Rescue.
Weather permitting, the fair board hopes to showcase exciting new changes at the fairgrounds by hosting the event outside in the newly remodeled 4-H outdoor courtyard event space.
“The 4-H Courtyard opens up the opportunity for dancing under the stars after a beautiful Archuleta sunset,” said Fair Coordinator Tonya Steadmon. “We can’t think of a more fun way to spend a Saturday night all while supporting a good cause.”
The 4-H Shooting Sports will also be a part of the fundraising, with a portion of sales from one of the food trucks going toward the program.
The fairgrounds are located at 344 U.S. 84.
