One of the first hints of spring in Pagosa Springs is St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration, featuring the “world’s shortest parade” at 11:15 a.m. on March 18.

The celebration starts at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, next to the hospital, and will also include vendor and nonprofit booths, bagpipes, free hot dogs, Irish coffee and beer for sale, and the opportunity for children to ride on the float with St. Patrick. Donations of canned goods for the food pantry will be appreciated.

Vendors who have not registered yet can do so at no charge by contacting Lynne McCrudden at (970) 731-5801.

Snow or shine, sport your green and help St. Patrick celebrate the day.
