Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to hear about The Spirit of the Season

Please join us on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 10:30 a.m., in person or on Zoom for the message by Michale Demchak on “The Spirit of the Season.”

This time of year is considered to be holy by several faiths. Yet, often it can be challenging to experience the holidays on a spiritual level. Commercialism, stress and celebrating a holiday that may not align with our own personal beliefs can leave us feeling spiritually disconnected.

Demchak will discuss some of the challenges, obstacles, ideals and icons of the holidays. He will explore what is truly sacred and meaningful during this time and how we may reconnect personally with the spirit of the season. He will also discuss the winter solstice and what it means to him.

Demchak is a member and service leader for the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Zoom instructions: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89541356518. Meeting ID: 895 4135 6518. Dial in: (346) 248-7799.

Depending on the current COVID recommendations, please be prepared to wear a well-fitting mask, if deemed necessary, while in the building. Social distancing will be encouraged and, to that end, the maximum capacity of the fellowship has been reduced to 25, a very good reason for arriving a few minutes early.

We welcome diversity and invite everyone to share in our faith community.

Find us in Unit B-15 of the Greenbriar Plaza, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing the mountains. Join us.
