Thingamajig Theatre Company brings in professional performers from around the country to bring beautiful stories to life on stage at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts.

This winter season is no exception, with an influx of performers coming to rehearse “A Charlie Brown Christmas” opening Dec. 16 and a heartwarming selection of holiday music for “A Merry Little Christmas Concert,” which will play three nights in December.

The actors also lend their expertise, training and joy for the art to the Whatchamawhozit Children’s Theatre program each summer, teaching a theater program at the Center for the Arts, and this winter they are here providing another wonderful opportunity for our local kids.

Camp runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 20-29 with public performances Dec. 30 and 31.

Camp also includes an audition workshop on Dec. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. as well as an extended camp day and an invite to come see their counselors perform in “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Dec. 21 at 3 p.m.

This camp is perfect as an introduction to theater or as a way to get extra attention for seasoned young performers as the camp size this winter is extremely limited. The age limit has been extended to 14 for this winter camp to reflect the small class size and more intimate teaching capabilities of our winter camp.
