The members of the Pagosa Springs Community Choir, under the direction of Dan Burch, are hard at work preparing for this year’s festive Christmas concerts, and we are all looking forward to sharing the joy of Christmas with our fellow Pagosans.

The concerts will be held in the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium on Dec. 9 and Dec. 10 at 7 p.m., and on Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. The concerts are free for your enjoyment.

The Community Choir is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and donations will be gratefully accepted. A tax-deductible receipt can be provided for your gifts.

The Community Choir has offered these Christmas concerts to the Pagosa Springs community for 25-plus years. The choir begins rehearsing in September, meeting weekly to prepare for this offering to the Pagosa Springs community.

Listeners can look forward to many of their favorite carols such as “Sing We Now of Christmas,” “Sleigh Ride” and “Jingle Bells.” You will also be treated to some lesser-known Christmas music such as “Still of the Evening,” which is a beautiful Christmas melody that will warm your heart. The blending of the range of voices of a live choir is a wonderful treat not to be missed.

Please mark your holiday calendar and join us for a spirited and beautiful Christmas concert. We will look forward to seeing you in the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium Dec. 9 at 7 p.m., Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. or Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. The doors open Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
