Bowling in Pagosa? Miniature golfing inside the library? You bet.

Shake off your bowling shoes and golf shirts, gather your friends and family, and get ready for Lanes and Links for the Library at your Ruby Sisson Library. This weekend only, Oct. 29 and 30, your Ruby Sisson Library will be transformed into a miniature golf and bowling center.

On Saturday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., we are hosting an adults-only event for ages 21-plus. Adults will be able to bowl and golf in a fun atmosphere. Beer, wine, sodas, pizza and other carnival foods will on sale at Ruby’s Concession Stand. Enjoy live music with some of your favorite tunes by Jesse on guitar. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded. Tickets are $20 per person and include one drink ticket.

On Sunday, Oct. 30, from 1 to 4 p.m., we are hosting a family-friendly community event for all ages. Participants will enjoy golfing, bowling and other carnival fun. You will be amazed and entertained with magic tricks and balloon animals while waiting for your next turns. Sodas and carnival foods will be on sale at Ruby’s Concession Stand. Tickets are $10 per person and $40 per family of four ($5 for each additional person in your family). Free books will be given to those in family-friendly costumes.

All funds raised from Lanes and Links for the Library will go toward our Mountains of Opportunity campaign to expand and renovate your Ruby Sisson Library.

Your library is the hub of the Pagosa Springs community. We offer a welcoming and safe space for people of every age, income level or physical ability. We help bridge the digital divide, promote early literacy, help patrons further their education and more. Your financial support would help us build a better future for our community, for our library. To learn more, please contact Cindi Galabota at (970) 264-2209 or cindi@pagosalibrary.org.
