Curtains Up Pagosa is proud to present “The Addams Family,” a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family — a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.
Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
Featuring all your favorite Addams Family characters as well as many of the Addams Family ancestors, performances of “The Addams Family” will be Oct. 27 at 7 p.m, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m., Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Pagosa Springs High School.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Oct. 1. Adult tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Student tickets (18 and under) will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets will be available online from www.curtainsuppagosa.org as well as https://our.show/cupaddams.
