The Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership (GGP) will host open mic night in the GGP amphitheater on the San Juan River this evening, Thursday, July 21, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The GGP invites the community to an open mic each third Thursday from June through September. The free event is in Centennial Park at the GGP amphitheater at 80 S. 5th St.

All forms of family-friendly art and music are encouraged and welcome. A portion of the funds raised during these events will be used to jump-start the future heritage food gardens surrounding the grow domes that celebrate and provide educational opportunities about the traditional plants, foods and cuisines of our indigenous and Hispanic relatives and ancestors that have thrived here for generations.

The GGP is excited to host these free community gatherings, to connect spaces in beautiful downtown Pagosa Springs along the San Juan River and to support GGP’s mission of educating the community in sustainable agricultural practices by producing food year-round using local renewable energy.
