There are still a few spaces available for the free 11:30 a.m. plant walk on July 20.

Led by certified herbalist Lake McCullough, the July walk will take you to Wolf Creek Road near the top of the pass in peak wildflower season. We will walk the road in a gradual ascent, stopping to examine plants along the way. This is an opportunity to learn the medicinal and edible uses of plants that grow right along the road.

Be prepared to walk around 1.5 miles round trip and stay until 1:15 p.m. Advance registration is required.

Call McCullough at (970) 398-0923 to reserve your spot. Watch for information on the final summer walk to be held on Aug. 20.
