Rep. Barbara McLachlan, representing Archuleta County as part of the state Congressional District 59, will meet with constituents at a potluck on July 19 at 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Yamaguchi Park terrazzo. Everyone is invited to come and share a favorite dish.
McLachlan was born in Lakewood, Colo., and is a fourth-generation Coloradan. She is a retired journalist and high school teacher. McLachlan has been our representative in Denver since 2017. She wants to hear what issues you think are important as she tours the district while the House is in recess.
The Archuleta County Democratic Club meets every third Tuesday of the month. The club gives local Democrats the opportunity to meet with other Democrats and to hear speakers from the community, to meet candidates for local and national offices, and to hear about topics of timely interest. All are welcome to attend.
