The Pagosa Springs History Museum is now open and welcoming visitors for the 2022 season.

In addition to the numerous historical displays, a magnificent quilt display by many talented Pagosa Springs quilt makers is available to enjoy. An exhibit of items from the recently acquired Fred Harman collection will also be on display.

The museum provides exhibits depicting the history of the area, along with acknowledgments of local pioneers who were instrumental in the early development of Pagosa Springs. Various cultures are represented in the displays.

The directors and staff are excited to announce that an expansion of the museum this summer will provide desperately needed floor space for additional displays.

Grants and donations have been instrumental in bringing this reality to pass. Thanks to all the contributing individuals and entities for their generosity in support of the expansion effort.

The museum directors and staff cordially invite all to attend and learn of our heritage as a community.

Opportunities to volunteer are available and welcomed at the museum.
