The Pagosa Springs Community Band will soon be gathering to prepare for an important part of the Fourth of July celebration here in Pagosa Springs.
Each year on the lawn at The Springs Resort the band plays a patriotic concert to enhance your celebration of our country’s birthday. We will prepare some classic marches, military themes and local favorites.
The band is open to any musicians in the community. We have wind, brass, percussion and string players and they also come from many different musical experiences. Some of our band members have played in public school bands, others have degrees in music, some have published music and others currently play in large symphonies.
Our common bond is a love of music and the joy of many people coming together to make beautiful music. Remember that joy? Come join us to feel that again. We would like to meet you and tell you how you can be a part of the Pagosa Springs Community Band.
For the Fourth of July concert, our rehearsals will be Saturdays, June 25 and July 2, at 10 a.m. in the Pagosa Springs High School band room.
The concert will be at 2 p.m. on July 4 on the lawn at The Springs Resort. We look forward to meeting you.
