Join the Vista Community Garden at 230 Port Ave. for an afternoon of garden planting Sunday, June 12, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Come help us plant the community garden with fruits, vegetables and flowers that will be grown and shared with the Vista neighborhood and surrounding community through engaging programming opportunities this growing season.

We will have a guest speaker who will share about the benefits of regenerative and sustainable agriculture along with providing us with some guidance and tips as we continue to grow as a community around our new growing and gathering space.

The space is focused on food sustainability, food equity and education with 24 raised beds and a tilled area for local food production in the neighborhood.

Come learn how you can sign up for membership in the new community garden. Healthy snacks will be provided. For more information, contact fsfearchuleta@gmail.com or call (401) 371-3227.
