The students of Our Savior Lutheran School are proud to present a play adaptation of Francis Hodgson Burnett’s “A Little Princess” at the school’s gymnasium on Friday, April 22, and Saturday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m.

“A Little Princess” tells the story of young Sara, whose well-meaning father sends her to a boarding school during World War I. An imaginative girl, Sara makes the best of her circumstances by entertaining her friends with fanciful tales. The strict headmistress, Miss Minchin, does not see eye to eye with young Sara, and after receiving some heartbreaking news, Sara is forced to work as a servant. While struggling to keep her spirits lifted, Sara makes some astonishing discoveries that may change her dreary fate.

Each performance of “A Little Princess” will run approximately one hour and 15 minutes with a short intermission between acts. These performances are free to the public. We will have a donations basket available during the play and all donations will help fund Our Savior Lutheran School’s arts program.

Please come support our students and all the hard work they have put into the production of this play.
