Chantelle Caldwell races to a first-place relay finish last week. The Pirates gave a strong performance in relays at both the Mancos and Bayfield meets with six first-place finishes between the two meets.
Vicinio Carranza races in the 4×200-meter relay last week. Carranza also participated in the long jump and triple jump in meets held in Mancos and Bayfield.
Annie O’Donnell lands a jump. The Pirates improved their performance in jumping events at the recent meets compared to the first meet of the season.
The Pagosa Springs High School Pirate track and field team placed first and second in back-to-back meets on April 1 and 2 in Mancos and Bayfield, respectively.
