With much anticipation, we are happy to announce that the 11th annual Vets4Vets golf tournament will be held at 9 a.m. on May 28 at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club.
This is the premier golf event annually in Pagosa Springs, with 100 percent of the profits going to support veterans in southwest Colorado and other worthy causes.
Last year’s event sold out two weeks prior to the event. We expect the same this year, so get your teams together. Singles and doubles are also invited to attend. Any donations are appreciated.
This year’s event will utilize all 27 holes. The tournament will feature many opportunities to win prizes featuring a $1,000 for any hole in one on all par 3s, free lunch at the turn, free concert after play is completed featuring the band formerly known as the Retro Cats and the famous potluck dessert bar.
Non-players are welcome to come to the opening ceremonies, featuring a flyover by the San Juan Flyers. The American Legion will present colors at 9 a.m. to honor all who have passed. We anticipate a very special starter this year. Come one come all.
