The Pagosa Springs Community Band is looking for musicians for an upcoming concert.
The band is open to any adults or high school students who play an instrument. There are wind, brass and string instruments in the band, and all levels of players from symphony players to those who are coming back to playing their instruments after a break of many years.
Adults are invited to participate by attending the first rehearsal on Sunday, April 3, at 2 p.m. in the high school band room.
The spring concert is the annual Band-O-Rama that will include students from our elementary, middle and high school music programs and the community band. It is a fun tradition that showcases instrumental music in Pagosa and all the ages and levels that is available.
Our concert will be May 14 in the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium. Mark your calendar and plan on coming to join us for a great time making music. “Music for Life” is our motto and we want you to have the joy of making it.
