John Nelson, a Pagosa Springs resident, passed away on Feb. 11.
He loved the reality of calling Pagosa Springs his home. John was an avid collector of antique tractors, thrilled at exploring the mountain terrain on a motorcycle, and investing time and energy flying radio-controlled aircraft.
John never hesitated to explain to the listener how very proud he was to have served in the military as a United States Marine.
Jacqueline, his wife, invites friends and relatives to join in a graveside service at Hill Top Cemetery, 411 County Road 400 (Cemetery Road), Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 on Friday Feb. 18, at 2 p.m.
