Jennie Elouise Andrews, known to most as “Wezzy,” was born in Pagosa Springs, Colo., on Oct. 1, 1954. She loved her little town and made it her home for 67 wonderful years. She was a sister of seven, a momma of three, a grandma to eight and a friend to so many. Wezzy was a special kind of woman, a selfless, fun-loving, ornery, spunky, strong, faithful, generous and warm-hearted being. She loved fiercely and was loved fiercely. She greeted everyone with hugs and always gave love, smiles and friendship freely. Her bright light will shine in our hearts until the joyous day that we meet her again.

Elouise was preceded in death by her daddy, “Dickie” Richard B. Montoya, her mom, Ramona B. Montano, and her oldest sister, Wanda A. Rivas.

Elouise is survived by her brother, Alex Montoya (Debbie); sisters Connie Medina (Henry), Monica Archuleta, Vicky Montano and Peggy Montano; and her life’s pride and joy, her children: Jenny Iguchi (Michael), “Rico” Richard Montoya and Audrey Rose Andrews (Tony); and her most cherished joy of all, her grandchildren: Triston Iguchi, Kaeden Iguchi, Zena Roybal, Devan Montoya, Keanan Montoya, Mason Montoya, Zayda Cardoso and Kambria Cardoso. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and numerous dear friends.

A celebration of Wezzy’s love and light will be held this summer, in the warmth and sunshine of the outdoors, among the trees, mountains, river and blue skies -— where she was happiest.
