Curtains Up Pagosa
Do you have an act that you would like to share? Do you sing, dance, tell jokes, do tricks? Do you think you have what it takes to be the best act of the inaugural February Follies?
Curtains Up Pagosa is looking for 10 to 15 acts of varying styles for an evening of fun, comedy, singing and dancing. There will be a $20 charge for those who are selected to be in the show. All acts will compete for cash prizes for the best acts of the evening. The audience and a panel of judges will choose the best acts.
We are looking for anything that is good for the whole family to see. Let’s keep it PG. Acts must be shorter than seven minutes. We are looking for a wide variety, anything including but not limited to singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, short skits, solos, duets and small ensembles.
The February Follies will take place on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium. There will be three rehearsals to make sure acts are performance ready. Auditions will be held on Jan. 22 in the evening by appointment. Or, auditions can be submitted by video audition by Jan. 22. Auditions will be welcome from ages 10 and up.
