A lawsuit has been filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado against current and former members of the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office and the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC).
A complaint filed Dec. 4 by attorney Donald Lawrence Jr. — of The Law Firm of Lisa Ward LLC — on behalf of the plaintiff, Jason Prescott, seeks a jury trial and alleges civil conspiracy, malicious prosecution, false arrest, extreme and outrageous conduct and deprivation of civil rights.
