After a year’s hiatus due to COVID-19, the Pagosa Springs Choral Society will ring in the Christmas season by presenting its annual community Christmas concerts in the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.

A choir of about 60 of your friends and neighbors will present a program of both sacred and seasonal music for the holiday season under the direction of Dan Burch, music director of Pagosa Springs High School, with Venita Burch accompanying on the piano.

Fifteen selections to celebrate the season will include “Sing We Now of Christmas,” “O Holy Night” and Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus.” Additionally, a select jazz ensemble will present “Christmas Memories” and “We Three Kings.”

These popular concerts are free to the community, but those in attendance will have the opportunity to provide a donation for music scholarships for students from Pagosa Springs High School.
