Emergency personnel respond after two Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office vehicles crashed into each other recently. Undersheriff Derek Woodman explained an emergency management employee was southbound on Piedra Road and was turning into the Emergency Operations Center parking lot when he collided with a deputy running southbound emergent through the area. Woodman explained the employee did not see or hear the deputy’s patrol car and that no one was injured.
