Members of the Colorado Springs Corvette Club (CSCC) and a few Pagosa residents brought their Corvette vehicles to Pagosa Springs Inn on Saturday, Sept. 18, for their annual People’s Choice Car Show.
For over 20 years, CSCC has come to Pagosa Springs. Twenty-five corvettes participated and over 200 people attended and voted for their favorite Corvette.
A 1963 C2 red split-window coupe owned by Gary and Debbie Yale had the most votes and easily won first place. Jack and Alice Hester’s 2020 C8 rapid blue Z51 convertible won second place, and third place was given to a 2020 C8 accelerate yellow Z51 coupe owned by Todd and Jodie DeShepper.
Chester Pajik awarded Pete and Alta Olejnik his “Chester’s Choice Trophy” for their 2002 C5 black Corvette convertible.
