All of our teachers, staff and board members at Seeds of Learning would like to thank the entire community for supporting our cause and making the 2021 Dancing with the Pagosa Stars a memorable event — and a huge fundraising success.

Over the course of the evening, donations came pouring in as our generous guests voted for their favorite star.

The competition was neck and neck, with Star Tim Sullivan and coach Ashley Butcher eventually gaining the lead to win the top prize, the Mirror Ball Trophy. The Best Showmanship award was taken by Star Heather Simpson and her coach, Nash McNichol; Best Female Dancer was Star Betsy Burnett and her coach, Nolan King; Best Male Dancer was Star Len Liszewski and his coach, Kylie Ross; Most Original was Star Derek Pepin and his coach, Haley Hudson; and, finally, Best Video was taken by Star Terrie Frahm and her coach, Dr. Doug Miller.

We raised over $200,000 from the event including sponsorships, ticket sales and votes. Your contribution has made Seeds’ mission possible: to give every child in our community access to a high-quality early childhood education, regardless of their financial status.

Once again, with huge gratitude and thanks to you all, Seeds will be able to continue providing the best education for Pagosa Springs youngest scholars.
