DUST2 is excited to announce its youth programming for the 2021 season.

We are kicking off the year with the High School Girls After School Program in May.

DUST2 was awarded the Outride grant last year, and as a part of that grant, we are putting on a free program for any girl in eighth through 12th grade who wants to bike after school. This program will be coached by all women coaches and will be a great opportunity to learn skills, ride with other girls and have fun.

The program will be meeting at the Dakota Springs trailhead behind the high school on May 7, May 14 and May 21. The program will run from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. DUST2 has loaner bikes for anyone that does not have their own bike. If you want to participate, you must register and fill out a waiver form which can be found on the website www.dustx2.org.

The Middle School Summer Day Camp will be taking place July 12-16. This week-long program will give your student the opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence on their bike and be challenged to try new things. They will learn how to make good decisions on the trail and how to be a responsible trail user. We will also be doing trail work one day to give back to the trails that we use. This program is open to students going into fifth through eighth grade in the fall. Space is limited, so sign up early. Registration opens May 1 and can be found on the website.

The Fall Cycling team begins practices on Aug. 2 this year and programming will run through Oct. 20. The team is open to students going into fifth through 12th grade. Registration opens May 1 and can be found on the website, www.dustx2.org.
