Marilyn Harris, of Pagosa Springs, has been elected to the office of secretary of the Colorado Republican Central Committee.
Harris is also the county chairman of the Archuleta County Central Committee and is currently the state president coordinator for the National Federation of Republican Women in Washington, D.C. She has served as state president of the Colorado Federation of Republican Women and has also been elected to the Colorado Republican Hall of Fame.
Also elected with Harris was Kristi Burton Brown as chairman and Priscilla Rahn as vice chairman; this is the first all-female group of officers in state party history.
Harris will serve in the secretary position until 2023.
