Region 9
The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado has launched a regional data dashboard on its website. Viewers can access county level data in a user-friendly format. The dashboard provides snapshots of the region’s industry advantages, economic indicators that impact the business climate, population, employment and income numbers, and labor force statistics for southwest Colorado.
“Offering data that updates frequently has long been a goal of Region 9 and even more important in the current economic climate as we all navigate the impacts of COVID-19,” said Laura Lewis Marchino, executive director of Region 9.
CARES funding from the Economic Development Administration provided the opportunity for adding the dashboard, which can be found at https://scan.org/dashboards.
Region 9 is a nonprofit corporation led by a 26-member board of directors that in addition to providing socioeconomic data, conducts business financing, administers the Enterprise Zone Tax credit program and provides a variety of technical assistance to support economic development goals and priorities.
