In an effort to increase local participation and to keep the Southwestern Water Conservation District (SWCD) board abreast of the happenings of the Pagosa Springs Urban Renewal Authority (URA) commission, SWCD board member JR Ford requested to be nominated by the district to be considered for a seat on the commission.
