Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District workers monitor the scene of a line break on Hot Springs Boulevard on Aug. 1. The leak was caused by rocks rubbing up against the buried pipe over a period of time, creating a hole in the pipe. It was repaired as of Aug. 2 and the hole in the road was subsequently filled with gravel.
