A memorial service for Monk Tarbell will be held at 2 p.m. on July 1 at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St., in Pagosa Springs.
An informal gathering will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Archuleta County Vets for Vets or the Community United Methodist Church Outreach Fund.
