2019/05/obit-Carla-Kinser-Obituary-picture-250x300.jpgCarla Kinser, kind loving mother and devoted grandmother, passed away at the age of 76 on March 19. Carla was born in Pagosa Springs to Guinn and Lois Kinser. She received a degree from Adams State and a master’s degree from UNM. Carla found her calling in real estate and was a licensed broker for many years in Tucson, Ariz., before retiring in 2007. She battled a long and painful debilitating illness. During her illness, she found comfort in her unshaken Christian faith and was the glue that held our family together.
Carla was preceded in death by her father, Guinn; mother Lois; and brothers Lyle, Leonard and Kelly. She is survived by her sons, Travis Burow and Darren Burow, and grandson Shawn Carter, niece Kay Kinser, nephew Kerry Kinser and many cousins on her Bramwell side. A graveside memorial will take place at 11 a.m. May 25 at Hilltop Cemetery in Pagosa Springs.
