Spring is in the air, as the saying goes. The songbirds have returned. The rivers are rising. The grass is greening up. Wildlife is on the move. Skiers and riders are trying to get in a few more turns before the rocks begin to show. There is one less welcome event on the way, however, and that is wildfire season.
