2019/04/obit-j.-v.-martinez-198x300.jpgJennie Juanita Martinez, 91, of Pueblo, Colo., went to be with the Lord on March 27. Born on Dec. 6, 1927, in Coyote Park, Colo., to Maria Elena and Jose Valdez, she was one of eight: six brothers and one sister who resides in Pagosa Springs.
Jennie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Celestino “Grandpa Honey”; children Dolores (Danny) Garcia, Nora (Duncan) McAuliffe and Tino (Susan) Martinez; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews, who loved her and honored her with visits and phone calls; along with extended family and friends. Services have already taken place.
