Nine middle school students receive awards at regional science fair

Nine Pagosa Springs Middle School students took home awards for their scholastic endeavors as part of the 2019 San Juan Basin Regional Science Fair. Pictured, from front to back, are Dennis Kholostov, Jonathan Nasralla, River Johnson, Jaden Tuggle-Reed, Emily Raynolds, Aspen Pitcher, Neena Gutierrez and Bella Gutierrez. Not pictured is Brandt Winther. Raynolds and Pitcher took third in the team projects category, while Neena Gutierrez took second place in the energy and transportation category and Bella Gutierrez took first place in the behavioral and social sciences category.

As part of the 2019 San Juan Basin Regional Science Fair, multiple Pagosa Springs Middle School (PSMS) students came away with awards for their scientific endeavors.
