Major changes to state liquor laws go into effect starting Jan. 1

As of Jan. 1, 2019, consumers will be able to buy full-strength beer at grocery and convenience stores in Colorado that previously sold 3.2 percent beer due to new state liquor laws passed in 2016 by the Colorado General Assembly.
