Special to The PREVIEW
Juliana Ellsmore was a beautiful, brilliant and talented young woman of 19 whose life ended last year in a tragic accident. Ellsmore loved music and singing and life. Her family created a music scholarship to remember her memory, light and spirit.
Curtains Up Pagosa, at the family’s request, has been honored to manage scholarship monies raised for specific, designated and assigned purposes.
A portion of the monies raised, $4,000, is being given as a gift of scholarship to the Pagosa Springs High School’s Americana Project, led by Bob Hemenger, of which Ellsmore was a student and participant.
We thank Ellsmore’s family for this amazing scholarship for Americana in her memory.
