Habitat for Humanity celebrates the completion of its newest home at a Home for the Holidays party on Dec. 1. The event included horse-drawn carriage rides, a visit from Santa Claus, gifts for the kids, crafts and cupcake decorating. Habitat for Humanity’s local affiliate has built 25 homes since 1994, helping to create a brighter future for more than 80 adults and 120 children through new homeownership and homeowner repairs programs.
