2018/12/obit-palmer-23000021_1636537483088087_8612142718333463316_o-213x300.jpgCharlene Kay Palmer, 52, beloved mother and dedicated teach- er of many, was born to eternal life on Thursday, Nov. 29. She was known for her unshakable faith and positive out- look on life, no matter the situation.

Charlene was born on Jan. 27, 1966, in St. Clair, Penn., to Charles and Donna Palmer. With her flute in hand, she marched through grade school in Bethel Park, Penn., and high school in Scottsdale, Ariz. She graduated from Fort Lewis College in Duran- go, Colo., with a degree in elementary education. Later, she moved to Pagosa Springs, Colo., where she raised her children.

Charlene was a dedicated and compassionate teacher and an inspiring, understanding friend to so many. From her birth to her death, she nourished people around her with love, faith and music. Charlene will be remembered for her genuine and almost constant smile along with her sense of humor and outgoing personality. She was designed to light up a room!

She is survived by her daughter, Jennie Siebenmorgen ( White); husband Evan; her son, Sam White; her father, Gary Palmer; brother Ken Palmer and his wife, Amy; nephew Geddy; and her stepchildren, Nikki Aalund, Brooke Feinhals, Jessica

Feinhals and Jacob Feinhals. In addition, she leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Donna Palmer.

A celebration of life will be held at Animas Valley Church, where Charlene attended services, in Aztec, N.M., starting at noon on Saturday, Dec. 8. A reception will immediately follow.
