Shop local and save during the 13th annual Parade of Stores brought to you by the Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Parade of Stores is Friday, Nov. 30, through Sunday, Dec. 2. With 29 local stores participating, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list. Clothes, jewelry, specialty food, decorations for the holidays, entertainment, home improvement needs and outdoor recreation must-haves are just a taste of what these stores have to offer.
Shop at your favorites, check out a new store or stop in at one you haven’t visited in a while. Each participating store is offering its own special sale throughout the weekend.
Follow the Pagosa Springs Chamber’s social media countdown or check out The SUN’s PREVIEW for information of what each store has to offer. In addition to receiving great shopping deals, for every $10 spent at any participating store, you will receive a ticket and be entered into the drawing to win gift certificate prize packages. The more you spend, the more chances you have to win. All this just for shopping at the stores you already know and love.
Keeping retail dollars local is important; not only does it keep our friends and family members in business and living in Pagosa, studies show that for every $100 spent, approximately $68 stays in the community when you spend at a local store; $43 if you shop at a national chain. In addition, shopping local keeps your taxes here, where it helps our infrastructure needs, schools, fire department and much more.
