Three Archuleta School District (ASD) buses make the trip to the Edith bridge to transport students from New Mexico who are attending school in Pagosa Springs. This year, there are 147 students from out of state attending ASD schools.
As many border towns may experience, parents and students from neighboring states may make the decision to send their kids to school in a different state.
