The Archuleta County Democratic Party has opened a campaign headquarters at 565 Village Drive, Unit A1.
A grand opening celebration will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. A number of candidates have been invited to participate. Finger foods and beverages will be served.
Headquarters hours will be sporadic until the grand opening, and the regular hours of operation are still to be determined and will depend on volunteer availability.
If you are interested in volunteering to staff the headquarters, want to verify the headquarters hours or want more information about the candidates, contact county chair Becky Herman at 903-0788 or 264-2171. All residents are invited to stop in to see what’s going on, discuss issues and obtain campaign materials.
If you are not yet registered to vote, you can do so online at govotecolorado.com or in person at the Elections Office in the Archuleta County Courthouse.
