Over the weekend, the DUST2 Pagosa Springs mountain bike team traveled to Frisco to embark on the first Colorado League race of the season. Mountain bike team racers Brae Bergdolt and Sawyer Blakemore completed the 12.3-mile course in hopes to qualify for state championships later this fall. Sophomore rider Bergdolt placed 15th out of 152 riders with a time of 59:51.47. Blakemore, freshman racer, was able to cut his second lap time in half after having a mechanical issue at the beginning of the race. He ended up 113th overall out of 121 riders.
