Special to The PREVIEW

We have extended the community-wide housing survey conducted by Pagosa Housing Partners (PHP) until Sept. 1.

To date, we’ve only received about 200 replies, but have nearly 1,500 online cards and written surveys in distribution.

Getting a full picture of our community need is critical to future planning. If you’ve been in town for a short while and want to stay, or if you’ve lived here all of your life, this survey is for you. If you work in Archuleta County at any income level, part or full time, this survey is for you. If you currently rent and can no longer sustain the rent level or you’re trying to buy a starter home, this survey is for you.

Retaining our small town’s authenticity is critical to our success as a healthy, diverse community, which means helping you stay here to live, work and play. Together we have the ability to grow and shape our town.

Please go online to pagosahousingpartners.org and take our five-minute survey. And, please, tell a friend, neighbor or family member about it, too.
