Attention Pagosa Springs elementary and middle school students: Wednesday, May 9, is National Bike To School Day.
Switch up your morning commute and join Retro Metro Kids-Safe Routes To School for some bicycle riding before the bell rings.
We will be meeting at Yamaguchi Park at 6:45 a.m. and beginning the bike ride at 7:15 a.m. Parents may drop off kids for the bike ride, but are more than welcome to join us on the ride, too. Helmets are required. Bring your bicycle, helmet, gloves and warm layers.
Volunteers are needed for National Bike To School Day. We are aiming to have a 3-to-1 ratio of kids to adults to ensure student safety. To sign up, please email arossetti@pagosa.k12.co.us or agadomski@pagosa.k12.co.us.
