Do you have a bicycle hanging around collecting dust that you don’t want anymore? Are you looking to purchase a bicycle or gear at an affordable price so that you can get outside and do some pedaling?

If your answer was “yes” to either of those questions, come out to the Retro Metro Kids (RMK)-Safe Routes To School Bike Swap on April 21 at Pagosa Springs Elementary School.

What?

Bike and gear swap (sale) open to the public. All gear that is bike-related is welcome. No electric or motorized bikes, please.

When?

Gear check-in: April 20 from 1:30 to 6 p.m.

Bike swap (sale): April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Unsold gear pick-up: April 21 from 2:30 to 6 p.m.

Where?

Pagosa Springs Elementary School, 141 S. 10th St.

Who?

RMK is Archuleta School District’s Safe Routes To School Program that is designed to provide opportunities for children to learn how to walk and bike safely.

This first-ever RMK-SRTS bike swap is an opportunity for community members to purchase and/or sell affordable used bikes and/or gear to promote healthy lifestyles in Pagosa Springs.

How?

Bring your new and used gear to Pagosa Springs Elementary School on April 20 from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Fill out a form and equipment tags, choose a price for your equipment, then place it on the floor for the sale.

Visit the swap on April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to shop yourself.

Pick up any of your unsold gear from the swap on April 21 from 2:30 to 6 p.m.

Checks for sold items will be picked up by sellers in the main office at Pagosa Springs Elementary School during the school week.
